New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) welcomed a delegation of students from El Sewedy University for a field visit to the Zafarana Wind Farm.
The visit included an introductory session on the operational mechanisms of the wind power stations and the role of NREA in supporting renewable energy projects in Egypt.

During the visit, the students took a site tour that included the wind turbines and the Control Room, where they learned closely about the operation and monitoring systems as well as performance and production tracking at the site.

This visit reflects NREA’s commitment to supporting the practical training of university students, enhancing their technical skills, and raising awareness of the role of renewable energy in achieving sustainable development.
