Visit of African Trainees to the Wind Farm and Solar Power Plant at NREA’s Zafarana Site

As part of the cooperation with the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, which organizes a training program for trainees from African countries in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD), the program included a field visit to the New and Renewable Energy Authority’s site in Zafarana

The visit aimed to provide the trainees with firsthand insight into the operation and management stages of renewable energy projects. The tour included a visit to the wind power plant, where the trainees learned about the station’s components as well as the control and monitoring systems used in turbine operation.

The program also featured a visit to the solar photovoltaic plant to explore the grid connection systems and methods for tracking and analyzing daily energy production
